Bio: I am a chemist by trade and predominately work with physician referrals and the public who suffer from cancer, enteric problems, metabolic disorder, obesity, nervosa and children’s nutrition. I primarily teach individuals how to balance their metabolisms by taking a biochemical approach which I have created and refer to as “Metabolic “Fingerprinting”. I have owned my own practice for 18 years and enjoy the successes of my business. I am a certified clinical nutritionist and am insured by the American Dietetics and Nutritionists Association. I have recently completed a second bachelor degree through University of Phoenix in the discipline of psychology. I have participated in athletic training for 22 years both with instruction and in forms of competition. I am versed in sport nutrition and have worked with amateur and collegiate athletes in all forms of sports.
My training includes formulating specialized nutrition for patient physician referrals and those in need of the following areas of nutrition; oncology, nephrology, geriatrics, bariatrics, pediatrics, and endocrinology. Additional training includes treatment of metabolic disorders such as diabetes and insulin resistance I also have experience with giving therapy for nervosas, obesity, food allergies, skin conditions, and general wellness.
As one who has been bodybuilding for over 23 years, I also help clients work towards thier goals in the areas of sport nutrition and athletics. I use a technology called “metabolic finger printing”. The approach puts to use, dietary endocrinology, blood allergens, additional know food allergens, the lowering of environmental pollutants, basil metabolic rate and body morphology. It sometimes can be a bit of trial and error when it comes to specific metabolisms but in food science and its applications, that is normal. In other words, there is no “cookie cut way"; guessing is another term for “the scientific method.”
My success rate is very high and I have 19 years experience in this area. I am a chemist by trade and work as a clinical nutritionist. I have finished a second Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. I recently have completed a clinical laboratory science program and am also a California Sate Licensed Phlebotomist and Clinical Medical Assistant (License numbers upon request). I am also certified in athletic training and licensed in sport nutrition.
How I Started In Health and Fitness: My father is an avid health promoter and vitamin taker. To this day, he impresses that without our health, nothing else in life matters.
Why I Love It: I love the way the body responds to diet and exercise. I truly do not believe that people know the potentials they possess when these two factors are implemented as a part of a healthy and regular lifestyle.
How I Stay Motivated: I have come to understand that the mind will never tell a person to be motivated. Motivation is a by product of first observing a healthy lifestyle whereby the mind eventually does the programming for it.
Fitness Resume: I began bodybuilding at 18 years old and finished my competitive career at age 26. I won a state title in New Jersey in 1991 which qualified me for the Nationals which I did not attend. I have done some minor sport modeling and as of late still work out 6 to 8 hours per week at a local 24 hour fitness. I have been weight training now regularly for 23 years and am considered veteran status.
